Auto NL by Female Seeds is the new autoflowering version of one of the most legendary and grown marijuana strains of the past few decades. This indica dominant hybrid, based on Northern Lights, has been genetically stabilized with Lowryder (Ruderalis), and the outcome is a high-performance non-photo dependent strain with recognizable earthy and minty flavors.
This plant, just like its original version, presents a strong and sturdy central stem that emanates dense and heavy buds covered with a sticky layer of resin glands. Referring to the trajectory of this strain, there are three known phenotypes nowadays, from which countless great quality hybrids have arisen. This originally American strain is now settled in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and it's perfect for cuttings.
How to Grow Auto NL Marijuana Seeds
Learn to grow Auto NL indoors
When grown indoors, Auto NL behaves excellently as it doesn’t grow past half a meter, which is very manageable making it possible to use 8-9 plants per square meter in 7 or 11 L pots, depending on the available space. With proper due care throughout the different plant’s vital cycles, it’s possible to obtain a yield of approximately 300 g/m2, 11 weeks after germination.
Auttoflowering strains have a very short vegetative development, therefore HPS luminaires are highly recommended price and yield wise. Pure Light 600 W HPS Mixed Bulb is a good choice as it’s suitable for both growth and flowering. This strain should receive two weeks of growth and distance from lights should increase 20 cm.
Learn to grow Auto NL outdoors
Grown outdoors, Auto NL guarantees a yield of at least 100g/ per plant once dried, 75 days after its seeding. Thanks to its high resistance to low temperatures and weather harshness, it can be grown in northern European areas, especially Scandinavian countries. For hydroponic grows, Ph levels should be checked regularly and they should range between 5.5-5.8 and near 6.0 during flowering.
