Description
Luxar-Dos by Compound Genetics is a strain resulting from the cross between Cherry Dosidos and Jet Fuel Gelato. Besides, it is known for its medium to tall size, high yields, and remarkable potency, reaching very high THC levels. Additionally, it has a 9-10 week flowering period, which is relatively short for a sativa-dominant strain.
Luxar-Dos is a strain not suitable for beginners due to its high THC content, which can reach up to 27%. The effects are extremely potent and very psychoactive, providing an intense and stimulating cerebral high perfect for creative activities or leisure moments, whether alone or with friends.
After the initial euphoric phase, the effects become more body-focused, providing a deep relaxation that helps calm the body without fully sedating the user.
The terpene profile of Luxar-Dos is highly complex. Moreover, its main flavor is the characteristic Diesel strain taste, inherited from Jet Fuel Gelato, combined with a creamy note and fruity tones reminiscent of ripe cherries. You can also detect sweet, smooth, and earthy undertones typical of Gelato, rounding out a delicious experience.
Despite its tendency to grow tall, Luxar-Dos can be effectively managed indoors through techniques like SCROG, which helps control its height and maximize yields. It’s a strain that responds well to high light levels (PPFD), making it ideal for high-power lighting systems.
Under optimal conditions, it can produce between 400-450 grams per square meter. Its flowering time is relatively short for a sativa, reaching full maturity in 9 to 10 weeks.
Outdoors, Luxar-Dos shows great resilience and vigor. Furthermore, thanks to its slender structure and wide internodal spacing, it’s an excellent choice for humid environments, as it allows for better air circulation between branches. However, the plant also thrives in sunny climates, as it loves receiving plenty of light.
The buds are dense, with large calyxes covered in resin, ensuring a top-quality production. Under optimal conditions, it can yield up to 1200 grams per plant, with harvest ready by mid to late October.
