Dimmer power regulator for electrical appliances
The Dimmer power regulator is an accessory for our electrical appliances with which we can increase or decrease the input power to our electrical appliances. We will be able to make a light bulb dim its intensity, a fan that blows too hard spin slower, or our extractor reduce its revolutions and make less noise.
How to use the Dimmer power regulator
- Connect the electrical accessory you want to regulate through the Dimmer.
- With a dial on the top, we will increase or decrease the power to our liking.
- We can regulate electrical appliances up to 300 W, with an amperage of 1.6 A.
- You must pay close attention to the wattage and amperage of your extractor before plugging it into the Dimmer; if you connect a very powerful appliance, you will burn its internal fuse and it will stop working.
- If you need more power, there are speed and temperature controllers that withstand higher voltages and perform the same function.
- It is designed for small extractors, fans, light bulbs, small heaters, air pumps.
Use a Dimmer power regulator in your extractor
We usually use this product in extractors. Extractor motors work with an electromagnet: if we don't give it enough power, they either won't spin or they will make an electrical noise that sometimes exceeds the noise of their normal operation. The minimum we can set extractors with the dimmer is half power or higher, almost never lower.
