pH+ by Canna is designed to increase pH in your water if you need to, with just a few millilitres you can help your plants to absorb the maximum amount of nutrients possible. The perfect complement to your ADWA AD32 Waterproof EC Meter.
pH+ Canna - Use Recommendation
The acidity level (pH) of your water determines the speed at which your plants absorb nutrients and how much they absorb, so it’s incredibly important to keep this factor in mind. You might be giving your plants food that they can’t absorb properly due to the pH being out of whack.
Plants are generally capable of absorbing large amounts of nutrients with a pH between 5.5 and 6.6, although if you want to adjust it to perfection, you’ll need to keep it at very specific levels depending on the substrate that you’re growing in.
When grown in watery surroundings such as hydroponics, the ideal pH is 5.5-5.8 during the growth period and 5.8-6.2 during the flowering period.
This system’s is a bit more complicated in soil – you need to grab a handful of wet soil from your flowerpot and squeeze out the water. You’ll need to measure the pH of the squeezed water. It’ll need to be between 5.5 and 6.5, although if it’s higher or lower than that you’ll need to adjust it by adjusting the pH in your nutrient solution. If it’s lower, you can use this product in order to increase the pH of your water. If it’s over 6.5pH, you’ll need to prepare a mixture lower than 5.5, and if it’s under 5.5pH you’ll need to adjust your mixture to over 6.5pH.
When growing in coco coir, adjust your water between 5.5 and 6.5 pH.
ATTENTION: This product causes contact burns when it comes into contact with skin. Read the instructions carefully before using.
Dosage and how to use pH by Canna:
- Measure the pH in your nutrient solution.
- If it’s under 5.5 you’ll need to add micro-doses of pH+ until it’s at the right level.
- If it’s over 6.5 you’ll need to use pH- Grow or pH- Flower by Canna.
