What is Boom Potassium Soap?
Boom Potassium Soap is a contact insecticide made from potassium salts of vegetable fatty acids, a solution widely used in organic farming to control sucking insect pests without resorting to conventional chemical insecticides.
Unlike systemic products, this soap acts only when it comes into direct contact with the insect, offering effective control without promoting the appearance of resistance.
Its Ready To Use (RTU) format with a 650 ml spray gun allows plants to be treated immediately, making it ideal for urban gardens, gardens, terraces, ornamental crops, and indoor plants.
How does Potassium Soap work?
Contact insecticidal action
Boom Potassium Soap eliminates soft-bodied insects through a completely physical mechanism.
When the product comes into contact with the pest:
- It dissolves the waxy layer that protects its body.
- It damages the cell membrane.
- It causes rapid dehydration.
- It causes the insect to die by asphyxiation in a short time.
As it is a contact insecticide, it is essential to spray directly on the pest, especially on the underside of the leaves, where most insects usually take refuge.

Once dry, the product stops acting. Rain or irrigation can easily remove it, so it is advisable to repeat the application when necessary.

Step 1. Shake

Step 2. Spray

- Stems.
- Young shoots.
To achieve maximum effectiveness, it is essential to wet the insects directly.
Step 3. Repeat treatment
- Preventive: every 10 days.
- Curative: every 3-4 days until get rid of the pest.
Application recommendations
To achieve the best results, it is recommended to:
- Apply early in the morning or at dusk.
- Avoid the hottest hours.
- Do not spray at temperatures above 28-30 °C.
- Do not apply to plants under water stress.
- Perform a preliminary test on sensitive plants before treating the entire surface.
Compatibility with other products
Boom Potassium Soap can be combined with numerous organic treatments, such as neem oil, plant extracts, or certain bioinsecticides, also acting as a wetting agent to improve the effectiveness of the treatment.
