  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for an extra touch of flavor. optional
  • A pinch of salt

  • Soak the seeds by placing them in a bowl and covering them with water. Allow them to sit for about 4 hours to hydrate fully. While this step is optional, it helps create a smoother and less dense mixture.
  • Rinse the seeds. After the soaking time, drain and rinse the hemp seeds well with clean water.
  • Mix the ingredients.
  • Put the hemp seeds into a blender and pour in the 4 cups of filtered water. If desired, add the sweetener or vanilla for extra flavor.
  • Blend the mixture well. Blend for 1-2 minutes until the mixture is completely homogeneous. Make sure that the seeds are completely crushed to obtain smooth hemp milk.
  • Strain the mixture (optional). If you prefer a smoother texture, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove any seed particles.
  • Store and enjoy. Transfer the hemp milk to an airtight glass bottle and refrigerate. It will stay fresh for 3-4 days.
