• 7 grams of spearmint
• 14 g of refined sugar or brown sugar
• Juice of ½ lemon
• 45 ml of your favorite rum if possible, high-quality white rum
• Mineral water or soda
• 5 grams of marijuana or 20 of small leaves stems, and CBD flowers, which can be obtained with our marijuana seeds.
• A couple of marijuana or spearmint leaves for garnish.

Making marijuana rum

• The first step before continuing with the rest of the recipe is the preparation of marijuana liquor. To do this, we will use two techniques based on the same preparation process.
• Moreover, as you know, THC and the rest of the components produced by marijuana dissolve easily in alcohol thanks to maceration (a process by which solids become liquids). Among the different methods, two are distinguished:

Method 1

• Place 5 grams of marijuana in a whole bottle of rum, in this case, white rum is used.
  5 grams of marijuana or 20 of small leaves, 45 ml of your favorite rum
• To make it easier and to be able to remove the marijuana later, use a stocking as a tea bag and leave part of the stocking sticking out of the bottle mouth.
• Put the bottle in the fridge and keep it for 24 to 48 hours.
• Remove the bottle, take out the stocking, and the marijuana rum is ready.
• This is the quickest way to make a marijuana infusion. Its potency depends on various factors, although it tends to be quite potent and suitable for making marijuana mojitos.

Method 2

• Place 5 grams of marijuana in a whole bottle of rum, your favorite one.
• Put 20 g of trimmings directly into the bottle, such as leaves, stems, and smaller buds.
  45 ml of your favorite rum, 5 grams of marijuana or 20 of small leaves
• Place the bottle in a dark and cool area, making sure it is well sealed.
• Shake the bottle a couple of times each week with a couple of quick movements.
• Keep it macerating for about 2 months.
• After 2 months, open the bottle, strain the contents, and pour it back into the same bottle. Now your marijuana rum macerated for 2 months is ready.
• This type of prolonged maceration dilutes almost all available cannabinoids in marijuana or marijuana remnants. For this reason, it is recommended to carry out this type of maceration with remnants, as the potency is usually very high. Therefore, less quantity should also be used.

How to make canabis mojitos?

• If you have followed the steps to make marijuana rum and it’s ready in the fridge after 24 or 48 hours, it’s time to start preparing this refreshing marijuana drink.
• Place the sugar, lemon juice, and spearmint in a mojito glass and mash with a muddler until roughly mixed, but without forming a paste.
  7 grams of spearmint, 14 g of refined sugar or brown sugar, Juice of ½ lemon
• Now add crushed ice, marijuana rum, and top up with mineral water.
  Mineral water or soda
• Garnish as desired and enjoy responsibly.
  A couple of marijuana or spearmint leaves for garnish.

Notes

This is the basic recipe for making the original mojito from La Bodeguita del Medio. Although it can also be made using sparkling water, Sprite, or whatever you prefer. Depending on the mix used, it may cease to be an original mojito, although it will be equally refreshing and psychoactive.
