The 24th of January 2017, a citizen of Zaragoza found 250gk of cocaine in a tub of Nesquik. The man was just out doing is daily shop, but when he got home with his purchases he got a nasty surprise.
The man that discovered it just wanted to buy some Nesquik but when he opened it at home he realized that it wasn’t at all what he planned on buying. Inside he found a transparent package full of suspicious white powder, and he knew exactly what it was straight away.
When he went to the police with his findings, they quickly confirmed his theory that the powder he had found was cocaine. It wasn’t even a small amount; it was a quarter kilo worth 13.000 euro. It’s unknown if similar tubs were sold or if that was the only one.
The National Police has opened an investigation, because it’s obvious that the tub didn’t leave the factory with those contents. Among the measures that the police are taking to discover the origins of the package, is the typical fail-safe; revising all security cameras at the shop to try and find out when the contents were manipulated. CSI is also getting involved, getting the finger prints off of the tub to analyze them.
Every single month cocaine is shipped in disguise, in food containers, kids toys, clothes and basically anything that goes in a container, but never before (that we know of) has a supermarket been used to do such business, confusing and perplexing the police.

This discovery marks a new way of shipping cocaine that could have already been around for a while now. The unusual thing is that a random person bought the tub, because if it was being trafficked someone should have been waiting to pick it up so someone else didn’t get their hands on it. In this case, a normal guy from Zaragoza got a package obviously destined for someone else.
Right now the police theorize that a client left the tub there so that another person could come and collect it and head home with their 250g of cocaine perfectly camouflaged. It’s just a theory right now, but the police are working as hard as they can to find out how that strange package ended up there.
The whole incident went viral on social media, where hundreds of memes were created with absolutely hilarious ingenious comments about Nesquik. There are comments about their mascot, comparing them with their rival (cola-cao) and plenty of word games that will leave you in tears.
