Description

What is Strawberry Lemonade?

Strawberry Lemonade is a predominantly sativa strain, designed for those seeking a creative, stimulating, and long-lasting high, perfect for daytime consumption. However, it's not exactly mild: its potency exceeds 20% THC.

This hybrid is born from the cross between Strawberry, a sativa with a distinct strawberry flavor, and Lemon OG, known for its citrus profile full of limonene and its compact, branched structure. The result is a resilient plant, easy to manage, and with an aroma that blends ripe strawberry with tart lemon in a way that is as addictive as it is refreshing.

This cross has resulted in genetics that are:

Very rewarding to grow, thanks to its compact structure, with many branches and a controlled height.
It adapts well to different environments and strongly withstands complicated conditions, such as low temperatures, high humidity, the presence of mold, or even pests like red spider mites.
At the end of the cycle, it develops voluminous and dense flowers, covered by a thick layer of resin, emitting an unmistakable flavor that combines sweet strawberry with very intense citrus notes.

Strawberry Lemonade Flavor and Aroma

The name of this strain gives away its flavor; it tastes like strawberry lemonade, a citrus and sweet combination that will make you fall in love with just one puff. Its aroma is similar to the taste, but with a slightly more earthy touch.

Strawberry Lemonade Effects

As for the effect, it is intensely euphoric and energetic due to its origin, as Strawberry and Lemon OG are known to be strains that produce intense highs. However, it should be noted that it can be too intense for novice consumers due to its very high THC levels.

How to Grow Strawberry Lemonade Indoors

Indoors, this variety from Barney's Farm's feminized seed range is very easy to grow, reaching up to 1.5 meters if allowed, although methods to control its height, such as pruning and trellising, can be used if you don't have much space. It takes about 60-70 days to finish flowering once the photoperiod is changed, and while flowering it produces a sweet lemon aroma with hints of strawberry that you might want to camouflage with an air freshener or odor filter. This plant can yield up to 600 g per square meter if well cared for and cultivation parameters are maintained.

How to Grow Strawberry Lemonade Outdoors

Outdoors, it can yield more as long as we give it enough space; planted in the ground or transplanted into a large final pot, it can grow up to 2.5m in height with correct fertilization. If you're looking to start outdoor cultivation for the first time, Strawberry Lemonade can serve as a learning experience, as it is resistant to cold, all types of fungi, insects, and harsh weather conditions. In early October, you can expect to harvest up to 1kg from a single plant, although an experienced grower could exceed that number.
