Description
Blue Cheese by Barney’s Farm is an extremely sweet strain that comes from a cross between Cheese and a fast-flowering Blueberry. The resulting plant is a fast, easy to grow specimen, even for beginners.
Indoors, you’ll need to wait around 65 days for it to flower. When the flowering period is finishing up, you’ll be inundated with a heavy berry aroma, which means that you might have to use an odor control device. In addition, once you see its long, fat buds you won’t want to grow any other strain. You can get up to 600g with just 9 plants per square meter, using a 600w lamp.
When grown outdoors, your plants should be finished flowering by September, and you can get up to 700g per strain. Blue Cheese's buds are a light green color, and they tend to end up covered in crystal-like resin, even on the tips of the leaves. You’ll also notice the color of the leaves changing as the nights get colder during the summer.
This strain pays homage to its flavor with its name; Blue Cheese – it has a distinct cured cheese flavor, alongside a citric-like aftertaste. It lets off a fresh aroma that stays more or less the same throughout the drying period, as it’s extremely potent which is why it’s one of this Dutch seed bank’s best seeds.
