Description
Increase growth and harvest quality with the DIY GRO CO2 System
The DIY GRO CO2 System is the perfect solution to enrich your indoor grow with carbon dioxide (CO2), a key element to accelerate photosynthesis and maximize plant development. This system is designed for growers seeking professional results without complications or disposable cylinders.
It works through a controlled chemical reaction between citric acid (CHO) and sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), generating CO2 consistently and safely. Just mix the ingredients (available in refill kits), fill the bottle, and let the system do the rest.
Advantages of using the DIY GRO CO2 System
The DIY GRO CO2 System offers multiple benefits for cultivation, including:
- Refillable and reusable: Forget disposable cylinders—this system only requires ingredient refills.
- Precise control: The solenoid valve regulates gas flow, and you can connect it to a timer or CO2 controller for professional management.
- Easy installation: Ideal for grow tents, cabinets, or greenhouses, even if it's your first time using CO2.
- Clean and safe gas: Thanks to the included filter, the generated CO2 reaches your plants free of impurities and moisture.
The extra CO2 speeds up photosynthesis, improves heat resistance, and promotes explosive growth of branches and flowers. This system is ideal for maintaining levels between 1000 and 1500 ppm, optimal for vegetative and flowering stages.
Safety warning
Avoid exceeding 5000 ppm, as high CO2 levels can displace oxygen and become dangerous for people. Always ventilate the grow area well and use sensors if possible.

Been using it for a week and I can already see the difference in leaf vigour. Does anyone know how long the CO2 refill usually lasts? Just so I know if I should order another one already.

Llevo una semana usándolo y ya se ve la diferencia en el vigor de las hojas. ¿Alguien sabe cuánto suele durar el recambio de CO2? Es para saber si pido ya otro.

Installed it in my small grow tent and the difference is insane. The buds are fattening up nicely. Do you think if I combine it with a PK booster it would show even more?
Translated from Spanish
Lo instalé en mi armario pequeño y el cambio es brutal. Las flores están engordando que da gusto. ¿Creéis que si lo combino con un booster de PK se notaría aún más?
