First, due to its discovery by human beings, afterwards due to its prohibition by religions in the Middle Age and nowadays because it is still considered dangerous by plenty of countries. It is treated as a drug for its psychoactive component (THC) and although it is well-known that such effects can be removed and promote cannabis sustainability, it is still rejected by political parties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well into the XXI century, one of the main focuses of world politicians is to <strong>protect the environment<\/strong>. For this reason, plenty of governments take on sustainable measures and structural modifications to reduce <strong>pollution<\/strong> as much as possible. Marijuana has been very popular over&nbsp; 2021 last trimester due to the<strong> Legalization Law proposal<\/strong>. It might not seem true, but seeing the world involved in environmental chaos is what was needed to make a plan of action. The 2030 Agenda arises due to world governments determined to <strong>lower pollution emissions<\/strong> and work hard towards sustainable growth. This Agenda includes certain goals and <strong>Sustainable Development Objectives (ODS)<\/strong>, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The end of poverty.<\/li><li>Zero hunger rates.<\/li><li>Health and well-being.<\/li><li>Good quality education.<\/li><li>Gender equality.<\/li><li>Clean water and sanitation.<\/li><li>Affordable and non-polluting energy.<\/li><li>Decent labor and economic growth.<\/li><li>Industry, innovation and infrastructure&nbsp;<\/li><li>Climate change action.<\/li><li>Submarine life.<\/li><li>Life of terrestrial ecosystems.<\/li><li>Peace, justice and solid institutions.<\/li><li>Alliances to achieve objectives.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cannabis_Sustainability_as_a_Determining_Factor\"><\/span><strong>Cannabis Sustainability\u00a0as a Determining Factor<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This agenda is a great advancement to achieve a cleaner and fairer planet to live in. But, what interest does it have for cannabis <strong>auto growers<\/strong>? According to OECCC, Cannabis Sativa L. could help <strong>comply with 64 of the 169 proposed goals,<\/strong> distributed among <strong>15 of the 17 Sustainable Development Objectives<\/strong>. Cultivating in certain areas of the African<\/strong> continent would increase employment rates and improve soil conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cannabis plants<strong> can<\/strong> <strong>survive in arid and extremely hot climates<\/strong> where nutrients are scarce while feeding the soil and <strong>reducing overall CO2 emissions.<\/strong> As if it wasn\u2019t enough, implementing outdoor plantations would <strong>reduce indoor grows<\/strong>, which would lower energy and water consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of Cannabis Sativa L. <strong>regulatory cultivation and consumption measures<\/strong> (including hemp and cannabis for medicinal and recreational purposes) would bring on<strong> plenty of benefits.<\/strong> It would improve society greatly with its multiple uses, which range from protein from hemp seeds, textile uses, energy saving, <strong>pollution reduction,<\/strong> employment and social benefits.
