\"HowIn this article we\u2019re going to show you how to install a cooltube in your indoor cannabis grow<\/strong>, which is quite a simple task if you\u2019ve done it before but if you haven\u2019t it might seem more complicated than it actually is. When setting up your grow for the first time you probably had thousands of questions such as where to connect the cooltube, the extractor, or issues such as how to place the odor filter<\/strong>. After reading this article hopefully you won\u2019t have any more questions as we\u2019ll have answered them all!<\/p>\n

The first thing we\u2019re going to talk about is how to set up the circuit for ventilating your grow room or grow tent. You need to pay attention to the path that the air goes through in the circuit and see where you should put each accessory for your grow. It\u2019s also important that you have some decent metallic adhesive tape<\/a><\/strong> that can easily put up with heat and won\u2019t come unstuck easily, because you need to make sure that the connections between tubes and devices have absolutely no holes in them, which could cause a smell leakage \u2013 if your budget allows, clamps<\/a><\/strong> would be even better.<\/p>\n

As you can see in the picture, number one is the carbon filter, which is the first thing that you\u2019ll need to have in your ventilation system in the first place the extracted air is going to pass through. Then, you\u2019ll need to connect the extractor to the filter, or like in the picture you can join them together through a small bit of tube. The next piece is a flexible silencer, with which you\u2019ll be able to remove a lot of noise from the extraction \u2013 this is one of the noisiest things in your grow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Next, you simply place the tube that is going to be extracting the air outside, which is the perfect spot to place your ozonizer \u2013 after the ozonizer there needs to be at least 5m of tube or cable before the extraction point to the outdoors. If you use a soundproof pipe you\u2019ll reduce the noise level<\/strong> even more than before.<\/p>\n

Now that you know how to install a normal ventilation system, we\u2019re going to explain how to install a cooltube in your grow or a refrigerated reflector in between your ventilation devices. You cando this two ways \u2013 one is making the ventilation air pass through the reflector<\/strong>, and the other way involves making a whole other circuit just to cool down the bulb.<\/p>\n

\"How<\/p>\n

As you can see, installing a cooltube by integrating it into the ventilation system is quite easy \u2013 you need to ensure that your ventilation system is blowing towards the bulb<\/strong> and that that air leaves the grow alongside most of the heat created by the bulb itself.<\/p>\n

First, you need to place the odor filter<\/a><\/strong> connected to the extractor \u2013 the flexible silencer will dim the noise from the air flow, and the tube will connect everything to the cooltube or a refrigerated reflector \u2013 to get one of these reflectors you can check out the wide variety that we have on the Marijuana Reflectors<\/a> section of our web page.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is done so that the hot air from the bulb doesn\u2019t go through the air extractor, which can avoid possible breakage due to excess heat in the extractor. Of course, although there\u2019s only one cooltube in the photo you can place as many as you want all lined up \u2013 depending on how many you have you\u2019ll need more or less extraction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s another way to install cooltube reflectors in your grow, and this method might even be better if you have a lot of reflectors or cooltubes connected in a row<\/strong>. What you need to do is set up a circuit for ventilation and another one to cool down the reflectors.<\/p>\n

In this picture you can see an example of what we\u2019re talking about \u2013 in the picture you can see the ventilation circuit with its odor filter, extractor, flexible silencer, non-return valve<\/a> and then out goes the air<\/strong>. The lower circuit, however, is another ventilation circuit that goes through the reflector and out of the grow. The air that goes through this circuit comes from outside the grow and goes back outside the grow when the circuit is complete, so you don\u2019t need any filters or odor fighting systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"HowYou can also see how it has a soundproof box<\/a><\/strong> with an extractor and an in-line extractor. The box is used to slice the extractor, as the air is taken in straight from outside and the noise can be heard through the tube. Then you place the tube that connects the cooltube extractor<\/strong> and it has an in-line extractor to help move the air quickly if you have lots of bends or many devices lines up.<\/p>\n

If you have a decent extractor then you can remove the in-line, and if you have over 10m of tube in your grow then you\u2019re better off using in-line extractors to help out the main extractor.<\/strong><\/p>\n
