The bigger they are, the more water they need. Some of the steps to follow are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quantity_of_water\"><\/span>Quantity of water<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first thing you should do before watering is make sure that your plants <strong>have absorbed everything<\/strong> from last time; if it\u2019s still moist, you don\u2019t need to water any more. This can be quite a <strong>tedious task<\/strong> if you have lots of plants, but if not done right you\u2019ll end up with short plants that don\u2019t grow much; and in some cases, they may even begin yellowing and dying off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, you can start germinating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbthegreenbrand.com\/224-cannabis-seeds\"><strong>cannabis seeds<\/strong><\/a><strong> (either <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbthegreenbrand.com\/40-feminized-seeds\"><strong>feminized<\/strong><\/a><strong> or autoflowering)<\/strong> using the Tupperware system designed to germinate marijuana seeds easily, which we\u2019ve explained in another post. This method practically guarantees <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbthegreenbrand.com\/blog\/how-to-germinate-weed-seeds\/\">germination<\/a>, and if you use any other type of method to pop your seeds, we simply can\u2019t guarantee that you\u2019ll obtain the desired results. Once the seeds have germinated, we like to grow by training the roots, making them healthy and strong. In order to do so, you\u2019ll need to follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transplanting\"><\/span>Transplanting<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When your seeds have popped their roots out, you need to place them in a small 7x7cm pot about 5\/10mm in, with the root facing downward. These pots must be full of substrate and watered first. Do not water again until the sapling has sprung up and until the pot <strong>weighs practically nothing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the plant has stopped stretching upwards, you\u2019ll need to move it to a 3L flowerpot. Depending on the substrate, you should usually water your new pot using more or less half a liter of water depending on the substrate used. Make sure to <strong>lift the flowerpot up <\/strong>every day until it\u2019s as light as possible \u2013 this means that it\u2019s almost entirely dry. That\u2019s when you need to start training it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start off by using about a <strong>glass of water per flowerpot<\/strong>. If it\u2019s accumulating after 3 days and your plant isn\u2019t drinking it up, do not water again until the flowerpot is much lighter.
